When to send a kids’ party invitation

Three weeks ahead is the sweet spot for a weekend party: far enough out that the date is still free, close enough that people have not forgotten by the time it arrives. Put a clear RSVP deadline on the card — the Monday before is usually right, because that is when the venue or the caterer starts asking you for a number. A deadline is the single biggest thing that moves a parent from "I will reply later" to actually replying.

What to put on the card

The child’s name and the age, the date and start time, an end time (parents genuinely need this one — it tells them whether to stay or come back), the address with any parking or entrance note, and whether siblings are welcome. If there is a theme, dress code or a "no gifts please", say it on the card rather than answering it fifteen times in the chat. The RSVP message field is where parents can tell you about an allergy or a plus-one.

Yes, if you add your guest list. Type or paste the parents you invited into your invite list and the dashboard marks off who has replied and who has not — no more comparing against the class list by hand. You can then send just the non-responders a reminder.

Does QuickEvites text or email the invitation for me?

You share the invitation link yourself — paste it into WhatsApp, a group chat or a message, wherever your parents already are. QuickEvites does not blast the invitation out.
