Two guest lists, one link
Retirement parties mix work people and personal people, which usually means two separate chats and two separate counts. One link pasted into both keeps the total in a single place. If it is a surprise, say so on the card in capitals — and remember the link is unlisted rather than private, so it only stays a surprise if the people you send it to keep it.
Collecting contributions and speeches
The RSVP message field is a reasonable place to ask who wants to say a few words, or who is in on a group gift. It is free text, so you will be reading rather than counting.
Common questions
Can I collect money for a group gift?
No. QuickEvites has no payments of any kind — collect that however you normally would and link it in the invitation wording.
Do colleagues need to sign up?
No. Guests never create an account to RSVP.
